Rama is considered the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. As per the words of Sri Krishna in The Bhagavad Gita, incarnations happen on the earth to annihilate evil and protect the virtuous.
The principal mission of every incarnation or Avatar is to protect Dharma. In this connection, Rama’s advent happened to see the end of atrocities committed by the demonic forces.
After killing a list of demons, Rama provided one of the best rules on the earth described as Rama Rajya. Rama was born on Navami (the ninth day) of Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of the lunar month) in the month of Chaitra (April – May).

1. Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama
The original English version with Sanskrit songs was screened and released on home video under various names including Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama and Warrior Prince.
This film was made as a part of the 40th anniversary of India-Japan diplomatic relations and was worked on by teams from both countries.
It was released in the United States in a different, further localized English dub with narration by James Earl Jones, prince Rama voiced by Bryan Cranston, and additional music by Alan Howarth as The Prince of Light: The Legend of Ramayana on November 9, 2001.
Moriyasu Taniguchi was an uncredited character designer and the original music was composed by Vanraj Bhatia. Arun Govil, who is popularly known for playing the role of Rama in Ramayan (1987 TV series) voiced Prince Rama in the Hindi version.
2. Hanuman
The animated film dramatizes the life of its title character, Hanuman, a Hindu Deity.
The animation was created by Silvertoons. It is India's first full-length fully animated feature film released theatrically.
The film collected Rs. 8.18 crores and was declared a hit at the box office.
3. Siyavar Ram
As a young man, he is able to accomplish what no other man has ever done: he lifts and strings the bow of Siva, and by so doing she earns the right to marry the beautiful Sita.
Just when he is about to ascend the throne of Ayodhya, his father Dasaratha is forced to exile him for fourteen years to the forest due to a vow made long ago. Unruffled, Rama accepts his exile; his wife Sita and his loyal brother Lakshmana accompany him.
In the forest, the princely brothers kill many demons and visit many wise men and women.
The evil demon Ravana hears of Sita's beauty and kidnaps her. He has fallen in love with her and tries to seduce her, but she rebuffs his advances for nearly ten months.
Desperate to win her back, Rama and Lakshmana form an alliance with the monkey king Sugriva, and invade Lanka with an army of monkeys. After many violent battles, Rama defeats Ravana ...
4. Ravan - King Of Lanka
His story makes for a fascinating watch, with themes of devotion, faith, determination and loyalty, depicted in various aspects of his life. His fascinating story and highly interesting, little-known incidents from his life are woven into this beautiful, animated adventure film.
Raavan the film, depicts the life story of this ultimate villain, from his birth, to his growing years and the vengeful, hate-filled influence of his grandfather on him, to his final victory over Lanka.
Then begins his journey towards his end, at the hands of Lord Rama, after he kidnaps Sita. Raavan is a sure-shot entertainer and is certain to engage young minds and teach them valuable lessons in morality and Indian tradition and values.
5. Ramayana The Epic

But she is deceitfully kidnapped by Ravana, The King of Lanka. Thus a might war takes place between ram & Ravana.
Hanuman with his monkey warriors, a worshiper of ram also joins him. Will Sita be saved?
6. Sons of Ram

It is Amar Chitra Katha's first animated feature film in stereoscopic 3D. It was released to theatres in India on 2 November 2012.
The film was screened at the Toronto Animation Arts festival (TAAFI) in 2013. The film premiered on television on Cartoon Network (India).
7. Veer Abhimanyu

The film was acclaimed for its war scenes.
